Three years ago, St. John’s United church once stood on the corner of Willow St. and Windsor St., Halifax. The site is now zoned for residential development. A new condominium is planned to be built.
For three years, plants have wandered into the site to reclaim the soil. Some seeds were brought by humans. The soil is very rocky and filled with debris from the church. Over time, organic matter will build up the soil.
